I don't think he is retired... maybe he doesn't do much stand up anymore.

In the Riz Khan interview, he said that he is fed up people downloading his clips over the internet.. so his jokes any funny/novel to audience after the first night.. and he is having difficulty generating content to every other show. He kinda threatened that he will quit the business as he has enough money to retire.
